performance wise the Beaumont is a great cruiser nothing big nor nothing too small. acceleration is pretty good with the 2 speed powerglide transmission. The 194ci straight 6 is a reliable motor with 175,000 miles and still running strong. The motor does burn a bit of oil but the motors over 40 years old so that is to be expected. The entire body of the car is as solid as a rock so in a head on collision chances your going walk away if your in one. Handling wise it handles pretty good without power steering. The car is pretty heavy so it just glides along like a semi truck. The Beaumont is a blast to drive especially with the armstrong steering because you can just feel the road.
