Swapped over the 350 engine to a ls1 engine with a 4l60-e tranny, it has a cpp500 power steering box, 4 wheel disk brakes, rolls on 18's and 20's. Did all the work myself. Rebuilt the whole front end, rear end, all new bushings. Rides and goes down the road really nice.Aluminum rad.Dec 11, 2011

This car was purchased for possible restoration. After close inspection it was determined that it would be to costly. It is now being "ratted out" so to speak. The evolution wil be to a true Rat Classic. So far the front inner fenderwells have been removed and replaced with welded chair to support wires and hoses, All fender wells have been radised. New wheels and tires. Flea market steering wheel, 50cal ammo can for console. Intrepid from seats. Tall shifter with skull knob.Nov 16, 2011

I owned this 1962 Biscayne 2-Door Post for nearly 5 years. Surprisingly it was very, very
reliable! It was a V8, 3-speed with automatic overdrive unit. It could return over 24MPG
on the freeway with the factory cruise control activated.
It was truly a classic, rare and great looking. Was a pretty good drag racer, but when it
came to stopping, well - four wheel drum brakes that were manually adjusting just weren't
enough for performance driving.
Everything worked after 35 years!Feb 14, 2008
