not fast but but will run at 70 all day long.
brakes are not bad and the handling isnt overly bad for a 40 year old car (its just like driving a truck in the old black and white movies lots of movement in the steering).
no major repairs just basic maitainence and serviceing,
cannot say about squeeks and rattles as you cannot hear anything over the wind when driving (also it hurts when you get hit in the face by a bee)
styled by the army in typical squadie fasion ie lots of thick paint and trimmed with cammo and equipment (gpmg is a must though)
cheep to run got from birmingham to seven oaks in kent on 3/4 of a tank £25 ish £65 year to insure and cheep to fix
this is awesome to drive and turns more heads than any other vehicle ive ever been inOct 03, 2009

Amazing! The shape of the Landrover! A go anywhere classic with great usability value! One of few cars which are appreciating in value. Very cheep to maintain great fun all year round and better off road than most new 4x4s. Feb 28, 2009

Built for summer driving, roll the canvas sides up, take the door tops off and cruise along listening to a lovely V8 purring along!!Mar 29, 2008
