old, slow, unreliable, but I loved it.I owned it for over 35 years and restored it from the ground up, with help from Susan. Eventually it became just too labour intensive to keep it on the road so it had to go to be replaced by the Laser (what a backward step)Sep 10, 2009

My very 1st car ever. I didn't own the car shown but I had a similar one wich I bought 10 years old and in mint condition for Bec 5,000, cleaned it up and had it painted race green, otherwise it was similar to the one above even with the white sticker and rally number on the doors and big halogen spotlights. For me it is the best car ever made. The interior was over spacious, in back it was like a bedroom. The car was probably designed with the long legs of Charles De Gaule in mind, the interior was nothing fancy but functional and comfortable for those days. Fairly comfortable, assisted steering etc didn't exist in then, so being a front wheel drive and a rather large car heavy car, parking in tight spots was cumbersome work with that big steering wheel. For its time it was a powerfull, fast and a fast accellerating car and kept the road like no other, a train on a track. I named it my tank.Jul 22, 2009
