This is actually a 1938 Ford pickup with a 305 in it, but there was not an option for it. My dad built this truck starting with the cab only and he done all the work. I really like this truck it's a head turner and fun to have. We don't get it out much but enjoy it when we do. Mar 06, 2014

couldn't be more fun. Completely modernized with power everything. A/C blows cold and Heat blows hot. Kicks down good and has plenty of go. The Air ride system keeps all my teeth in place. My bluetooth radio plays my music from my phone!!Jan 08, 2013

I love these old Body style F1 pick ups they are built strong and so far it has been a blast restoring it. I actually got this truck from a older man from my old work place he gave this too me as a birthday gift cause he loved what i did with my 84 and he knew i would take care of it.Dec 01, 2012

Here again this isn't the truck but looks similar to the one I had. I paid $100 for this truck but it had a blown 271 ci engine in it. I got a 318 ci engine out of a 1959 Plymouth wagon from the wrecking yard as it had the same bolt pattern for the existing adapter bell-housing.Dec 31, 2011

This car is a driver,and that's what it gets!It'not perfect but draws attention whereever I take it.It has a bored out 307 chevy engine and turbo 350 trans,and a 9in ford rear end with highway gears.Chevy astro seats that are vey comfortable,and a tilt and telescoping caddy steering colum.Mar 10, 2011

Me and Don were at the diner one night talking cars... what else. I said I wanted to get an old pickup and make a hotrod out of it. Out of nowhere, a guy on the next stool says "excuse me, I couldn't help hearing...I happen to have an old Ford pickup I want to get rid of". Yeah, those things happen. We got his info and drove up to see it the next day, about an hour away. It was a rusty 1940 or 1939 Ford...never did find out exactly what, it was all sorts of parts put together. Gave the guy $100 and drove it home with his old California plates on it. I worked on for about a month until it got a pile of parking tickets on it one weekend. That kind of took the shine off the idea, and I sold it not much after that to a friend of the police officer that wrote the tickets. Hmmm...I smell a rat??...well, not really, he wrote the tickets up wrong so they all got dismissed. It helps to be buddies with the boys in blue sometimes.Mar 11, 2009

built for brewster transportation to travel from banf to sunshine and the glacier ice fields
has a flat head 8 4-speed transmission and a 2-speed diff
