The dealer reached out by text and wanted to know if we were paying by personal check or cashier's check when replying to our vehicle inquiry. After explaining our budget, situation and limitations we were sent a quote that brought the vehicle well over $10k. There were a lot of additional dealer fees and charges. Even with "discounts", it blew our budget by a significant amount and our bank would not approve the vehicle purchase. We advised them of the banks response and restrictions for the lending criteria. We are still receiving email offers to shop the dealership but our experience felt very dismissive and doesn't sit well for us. We're just trying to get the most for our hard earned money and thousands of dollars in "doc preparation fees" isn't it.

The salesman did a very good job. We worked through everything and I had them run my credit and was approved. They were overnighting the paperwork for me to sign to finalize the purchase. The paperwork did not come to me. I started calling and texting and emailing to find out what happened. One week later my salesman called me a said the sales manager sold the car to someone else who walked in the dealership. Not a good way to do business.

I went to test drive a used Sonata N Line and was given a quote on April 1st. The next day I called back to make a counter offer and was told by Mr. Carey, one of the managers, that he would call me back shortly that evening because he had to talk with his other manager to see what they could do. They never called back. I decided to contact Brandon Hyundai the very next morning and I was told that the quote they gave me was no longer valid because it was an end of month closing offer (April 1st??).... and the price had gone up from $24,344 to $26,500. Very poor business practice they should be ashamed.

I heard back right away but once I asked more questions I never got a response. They don't realize I was very interested in purchasing.

They had me wait in the lobby over an hour ran my credit had me and my sister complete several documents treated us like we where no body then after they had us sit in the lobby around 8:45pm they had another man walk over and tell us only us the only black people we can leave and wait for a phone call while they allowed the caucasian individuals to stay seated, even offered them coffee, and tea we waited outside just too see how long before they told the other families to leave and it was over an hour just very sad
