2025 Hyundai TUCSON: Packed with Technology
The Hyundai TUCSON offers many features the competition can't match
Finding the right vehicle for your lifestyle isn't just about picking a body style — it's about imagining how it will fit into your everyday life. Do you need room for weekly trips to the home improvement store or a comfortable ride for your daily commute in stop-and-go traffic? Do you frequent the school drop-off or plan road trips across the state? The 2025 Hyundai TUCSON offers innovative features tailored to real-life needs, including some that you won't find in other compact SUVs.
The Hyundai TUCSON is an innovative compact crossover loaded with driver-assist technologies
Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Junction Turning Detection keeps an eye on the road ahead
Standard
Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Junction Turning Detection uses a front-facing camera to monitor the road ahead for other vehicles, pedestrians, bicyclists and even motorcycles. It will alert you if it senses a hazard, and, if a collision appears imminent, will apply emergency braking to help avoid or reduce the impact of a crash[1].
Blind-Spot View Monitor puts a camera where you need it most
Standard on Limited trim
The Blind-Spot View Monitor uses wide-angle side cameras to display a live view of your blind spot on the instrument cluster. It activates automatically when you use your turn signal, giving you a clear look before changing lanes. It's also helpful for checking your distance to the curb when parking[2].

The TUCSON’s advanced convenience features make life easier
Advanced Rear Occupant Alert protects the most important cargo of all
Standard on N Line and Limited trims
Available on SEL and Blue trims
Hyundai’s Advanced Rear Occupant Alert uses advanced motion sensors specifically calibrated to help detect infants or children under six years old in the back seat. On top of giving you an alert to check the rear seat when you exit, if movement is detected after the driver exits and locks the door, the system will honk the horn for 25 seconds. If motion continues, it repeats the warning up to eight more times[3].
Remote Smart Parking Assist is the TUCSON’s high-tech party trick
Standard on Limited trim
Remote Smart Parking Assist lets your vehicle park itself, even if you’re not in it. It can detect a parking space and steer, accelerate and brake to pull into or out of tight spots. The system can be operated while standing outside the vehicle by using the key fob buttons to move the car forward and backward[4].
With the TUCSON, even the liftgate is smart
Standard on SEL trim and up
The Smart Liftgate knows when you need it to open and does so automatically. Just stand close behind the vehicle with the key on you — even if it’s in your pocket or purse — and it will automatically open on its own. Of course, there are also buttons on the key fob and both inside and outside the vehicle, but those can be tough to reach if you've got groceries in one arm and your little one in the other[5].
Hyundai Digital Key lets you use your watch or phone as a key
Standard on SEL Convenience, N Line and Limited trims
Hyundai’s Digital Key 2 lets you use your smartphone or smartwatch as your key. It’s that simple: as long as your device is on you, the car will unlock as you approach. Once inside, you don’t even need to place it anywhere special to start the car and drive off[6].
You can pay for parking and more, straight from your Hyundai
Standard on SEL Convenience, N Line and Limited trims
And then there’s Hyundai Pay. Hyundai Pay lets you use your TUCSON’s touchscreen to find and pay for things without getting out of your car[7]. Take parking, for example: Hyundai partnered with Parkopedia to launch this feature, giving Hyundai owners access to around 6,000 locations in the U.S. where you can both locate and pay for a spot, all from your dashboard.

[1] Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Junction Turning (FCA-JT) is intended to be a supplement to safe driving practices. The system is not designed to detect certain stationary objects such as trees or poles, and may not detect all vehicles, pedestrians, or cyclists under certain conditions. The system’s Junction Turning function operates when the vehicle’s left turn signal is activated, the vehicle is travelling between approximately 6-19 mph and the oncoming vehicle’s speed is between approximately 19-44 mph. The system is a driver assistance system and is not a substitute for safe driving. The driver is responsible for being attentive and maintaining control of the vehicle, and should not wait for the system's alerts before braking as there may not be sufficient time to brake safely. See Owner’s Manual for further details and limitations.
[2] Blind-Spot View Monitor (BVM) assists driver in changing lanes by providing a live view of the blind spots on either side of the vehicle and an audible alert if another vehicle is detected. Turn signal must be activated and other system limitations apply. Do not rely exclusively on BVM. It is the driver's responsibility to be aware of the surroundings and ensure it is clear before changing lanes or directions. See Owner's Manual for further details and limitations.
[3] When the vehicle is parked and the engine has been turned off, the Advanced Rear Occupant Alert (AROA) can help to alert the driver if it detects movement from a child or pet. Upon exiting and locking the vehicle, AROA may provide visual, audible, and/or Bluelink alerts if the interior overhead sensor detects movement. AROA is not a substitute for driver attentiveness. Never leave a child or pet unattended in a vehicle. Bluelink notification requires a Bluelink-equipped vehicle with an active Bluelink account. See Owner's Manual for further details and limitations.
[4] Remote Smart Parking Assist (RSPA) can remotely help park the vehicle. However, several factors can impact RSPA performance. RSPA may not function correctly if one or more of the parking sensors is damaged, dirty or covered or if weather conditions (heavy rain, snow or fog) interfere with sensor operation. Always inspect the parking area with your own eyes. See Owner's Manual for further details and limitations.
[5] The Smart Liftgate will open when the smart key is within 40 inches of the detection area for at least 3 seconds. Radio transmitters and other vehicle smart keys may interfere in normal operation of the feature. See Owner’s Manual for further details and limitations. Make sure you close the liftgate before driving.
[6] Digital smartphone key requires a compatible smartphone and an appropriately equipped Hyundai vehicle. Not all smartphones are compatible. Hyundai vehicle must be equipped with smart key with push button start, wireless device charging, and Audio Video Navigation System 5.0 (or newer) or Display Audio 2.0. Tap to lock/unlock function works on front doors only. Requires MyHyundai with Bluelink app and active Bluelink account. Please visit http://www.MyHyundai.com for information on compatible devices. Features and specifications subject to change. See your Owner’s Manual for additional details and limitations.
[7] Hyundai Pay is available on select 2021-2025 model year Hyundai vehicles equipped with Bluelink and touchscreen navigation. Requires an active Hyundai Bluelink mobile app account, subject to the Connected Services and Hyundai Pay Terms and Conditions. Cellular and GPS coverage is required. Only use Bluelink features and corresponding devices when safe to do so. Valid Visa, MasterCard, or American Express credit card must be linked to Hyundai Pay. Credit card eligibility and terms are determined by the card issuing bank. Hyundai Pay is currently accepted at select gas stations, charging stations and parking facilities (collectively, “Merchants”) in the U.S. Participating Merchants may not operate in all states or locations. Additional Merchant terms and fees may apply. Features, specifications, fees and availability are subject to change. Visit owners.hyundaiusa.com/resources for more information.
