Is the 2024 BMW X6 M a good car?

The 2024 BMW X6 M stands out because the X6 line was built around a coupe-like SUV shape that prioritizes style and sportiness over practicality. For 2024, it also gained updated lighting, new fascias and bumpers, new wheels, more power for the xDrive40i, and an optional Highway Assistant, while the cabin received a larger curved display and upgraded software.

If you want a luxury SUV that feels more dramatic and tech-forward than a conventional utility vehicle, this model fits that use case well. The tradeoff is that its identity is centered on design and performance rather than maximum space or everyday practicality. 33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 BMW X6 M reliable?

The 2024 BMW X6 M is presented as a high-performance, upscale SUV with potent engines, wide tires, sport suspensions, and a premium interior. The 2024 refresh also brought updated lighting, new exterior pieces, a larger curved display, and more modern software, which helps the vehicle feel current.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that this is a specialized performance SUV with a more complex, less practical setup than a conventional crossover, so condition and maintenance history matter a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 BMW X6 M?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then inspect the vehicle closely for signs of prior damage, uneven wear, or deferred maintenance. Focus on overall condition, because this model’s appeal depends heavily on its premium presentation and performance hardware.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 BMW X6 M?

This looks like a moderate market where selective buyers can still find value if they shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 109 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.51% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.1% of listings are accident-free.

What is the 2024 BMW X6 M's resale value?

The current average of $94,697 sits slightly below last year's $104,655.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle is equipped and maintained. If you keep the SUV in strong shape, you’ll be better positioned to stand out in a market where buyers have some inventory to compare.

Should I buy a 2024 BMW X6 M or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.51% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the better pick if you want the refreshed look, updated tech, and a used-market price that has moved down from last year. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may still make sense, especially if you can find a cleaner example with the right equipment at a lower asking price.
