I have owned my share of cars. This is my 3rd Mercedes. Big car but has the power to move. Smooth, quiet, luxury at its finest. I don't care what a new car might offer. You cannot talk me out of my E420, no way...

Performance-Slow off the line in high heat, Superb passing power. A beast in the 60-80mph range. 275hp V8. Build Quality-It's needed some stuff, but only because of its age. Been excellent lately. Appearance-Deep black finish makes it so it always looks good, doesn't get messed up as easily as other black cars I've seen. Interiors great, the color is still vibrant. Germans don't like cupholders. Cost of Ownership-about 20 mpg, so not bad... I get better gas mileage when I don't carry passengers or instruments, and in cooler weather. This car is a blast to drive!

With it's powerful V8 engine and automatic gearbox this car is so great to drive. It's 280hp and 400Nm gets it to its limited top speed of 250km/h pretty fast. Also the build quality and reability is top class.

W124 chassis models are great cars. Certain ones only had one issue, which was wire harness deterioration. This effected sensors and triggered the CEL check engine light also effected the EA electronic accelerator. Some other nuisances was the ASR or traction control. I didn't have these issues with my car.

Installed a pc with an 11inch display and 5.1 system which makes the sound pure inside the car but don't sound much outside :) Original rims 17 inch made for MB twice lighter than the original 15 inch rims. Carlson hood but I’ve made a customization and adjusted the angel. Lorinser body kit. Have rebuilt this car so it can race again.
