The Jeep Compass was redesigned for the 2017 model year, and with that redesign came the new Trailhawk trim. The Trailhawk was designed to be an affordable model in the compact SUV segment for serious off-roaders. The Trailhawk features all-terrain hardware, systems, and other upgrades that are usually only available on larger, more expensive SUVs and trucks. This trim level sits near the top of the Compass’ trim hierarchy, though it’s not the most premium model in the lineup and there are more expensive models with more upscale trims and features.
