2011 FORD F150 5.0L V8 32V F/I SMPI The 5.0 V-8 has a Six-Speed automatic power-train. The 6-speed 6R80 transmission SelectShift Automatic progressive range select and manual electric shift mode is a great combination especially for mountain or hill driving when you need to remain in the same gear on windy roads or downgrades. 4-Wheel Disc brakes provide good stopping power. The interior is well appointed with grey fabric (which I really like) . The design and look of the dash and gauges is set up for good ergonomic interaction. It puzzles me why the interior stylists place so much chrome trim in the interior when it can reflect sunlight into your eyes. Is there glare-absorbing chrome out there? I have driven this truck in the mountains and on two-lane country roads. It has great engine power, balance, and handling if you push it. I feel very safe driving this truck.

Love how roomy it is and comfortable. Good gas mileage also for a 5.0L getting 16mpg! Also has a feature to run on Compressed Natural Gas. Love the sync feature allowing me to play music through my phone and make calls all hands free!

This is a great truck and handles wonderfully! Pulls my boat and horse trailer with NO problems! And also stop on a dime with a load behind it too!! The Ford Sync technology is awesome! Makes talking on the phone much safer!! Love this truck! Just hate having to put gas in it ALL the time!

I really like the sync by ford for phone use and to play music from i phone or other mp3 player. It drives awesome and handles great in all weather. I drove in all conditions including snow and ice. I never missed work even in the worst weather. It has surprising power for a v-6. It is really unbelievable until you drive an ecoboost ford. I would love to keep it but we don't need 2 vehicles here and we just bought a new car.

Perfect vehicle. But the gas milage at 14 MPG isnt the best. The looks of the truck is great with the candy apple red and the 20" chrome rims make it a head turner. the interior is very spacious and has plenty of leg room.

Overview

The Ford F-150 is the best-selling truck in America and typically sells in greater numbers than some automakers’ full product lines. It’s obviously an important vehicle for Ford, and to capitalize on its success, The Blue Oval offers a staggering variety of trims, options, and accessories. One step up from the entry-level XL trim sits the surprisingly well-equipped XLT model, which brings more features than the base model and opens the door to add several of the most desirable options packages to the truck.

Key Features

  • Standard V6
  • Up to 14,000 pounds towing with optional engine
  • Generous standard safety equipment
  • Three available cab configurations
  • Available hybrid
  • Available in-bed generator system

Pricing Details

The 2022 Ford F-150 XLT starts at $41,800 before options, taxes, and destination charges. It’s easy to push the price without trying very hard, as options add up quickly. The hybrid powertrain is a $4,495 option, adding four-wheel drive costs $3,860, and other options packages can add $5,000 or more to the bottom line to get features like heated seats and remote start. Used examples on CarGurus range from $2,600.00 to $128,700.00 with an average price of $10,955.30.
