Overview
If the Ram 1500 TRX (or T-Rex) was designed for one purpose, it was to prey on the competing Ford F-150 Raptor. The massive 1500 TRX sports a version of Stellantis’ supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine also found in the Dodge Challenger Hellcat and Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk. With 702 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque, plus an off-roading suspension, the TRX is the closest thing to a monster truck we can safely drive on public roads.
Key Features
- 702-horsepower supercharged V8 engine
- High-performance suspension with 13 inches of travel
- 35-inch off-road tires
- 11.8 inches of ground clearance
- 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system
Pricing Details
Sold only in Crew Cab 4WD specification, the 2022 Ram 1500 TRX sports a starting MSRP of $76,780. Ram sells multiple option packages with the TRX, including the $3,795 TRX Level 1 Equipment Group and the $9,995 TRX Level 2 Equipment Group, so these expensive trucks can get even pricier—and fast. Used examples on CarGurus range from $43,780.00 to $252,930.00 with an average price of $10,995.00.
