The car accelerates poorly. It is built cheaply and you can tell this by how loud it sounds on the highway. It does however get me from point a to point b and at 40 mpg i cant really complain.

This is an ok car. It has excellent fuel economy 35 mpg. Still has plenty of power 2.2 L 4 cylinder. For the money... well u get what u pay for. Also this is a fun car to drive. Mine has over 160,000 miles on it and still runs and drives great.

everyone i ever talked to that owned a cavalier says its a great car and doesnt have problems, one person i know has a 99 base 2 door and she always tells me how she loves the car, i have riden in it and it drives very smoothly, and she says the clutch went once and thats the only problem shes had. a lot of bang for the buck

This could be a very nice car. The RS though, has absolutely no options. The higher end Cavaliers though are very nice. Mine had power nothing. No power windows, no power locks, NOTHING. The car was quick, sporty look. The 25% tint made look nice and mean.

It get very good gas mileage, with 38/Highway and 34/city the little 4 banger gets uo and goes pretty easily and it was just overall fun to to drive. I would buy it again. It was always very realiable and i only ever had 1 problem with the power steering but it was fixed pretty easily.
