Driving only in Eco mode, we observed 17.5 mpg on our Southern California fuel economy testing loop. During a drive to the far reaches of metro Los Angeles to an off-highway vehicle park, the Tacoma averaged 17.6 mpg in a mix of city, highway, and off-road driving.

What Toyota Tacoma do most buyers choose?

The Toyota Tacoma years with the most listings are 2024, 2025, and 2023.

What is the Toyota Tacoma's resale value?

Most Tacoma model years are down year over year, which is good news if you're shopping used and want to benefit from softer pricing. The changes are generally modest, with only one model year showing a gain. That pattern suggests the Tacoma remains in demand while still giving buyers some room to find value.

The 2017 model year is holding steady, with prices close to flat year-over-year.

The 2014, 2017, and 2021 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
