New Toyota Highlander Limited AWD for Sale near Roselle Park, NJ
5 Overall rating
(2 reviews)We have owned for nearly one month in Anchorage Alaska and have replaced the stock tires with Bridgestone Blizzak tires. Traction and handling on ice and snow for the 4wd is amazing. I can't speak to the stock tires as they were only on the vehicle for 1 day. Interior noise is very low with the engine barely audible even at high rpm. We only make short trips from the house and it is all in town driving. Our MPG is 17 with nearly 500 miles on the vehicle. I understand that improves as the you surpass 1500 miles on the odometer. Expecting 19 city and 25-26 highway. Fit and finish is OK and could be improved. We have the limited with leather. Quality of the leather is great and heated seats are very nice on the cold mornings. Previous SUV was a BMW X5 where fit and finish was very good. Acceleration and passing ability are excellent, surpassing the BMW x5 (3.0) by a wide margin. Power is there when you want it instantly! Contrary to many of the reviews, this car IS fun to drive and comfortable too. Just a notch below the BMW x5 and much more useful. Comfort of the seats is good with excellent ride on all surfaces. Speed bumps can be taken at 20 mph without exciting the suspension. Anti- lock brakes and VSC (Stability control) work very well and add considerable safety and confidence for those slick icy days. Overall we love the vehicle and it is typical Toyota quality and refinement. The Highlander is sourced and built in America by Americans with a majority of the parts being made here. Engines however, are shipped from Japan.
For once i got a vehicle that comes with everything i had in mind.
