| Model Year | Accident-Free % |
|---|---|
| 2026 | 91.6% |
| 2025 | 90.3% |
| 2024 | 86.4% |
| 2023 | 80.4% |
| 2022 | 72.1% |
| 2021 | 63.3% |
| 2020 | 57.8% |

Which Toyota Camry trim should I buy?
The 2026 Toyota Camry offers...
- LE: This is the entry point in the lineup and gives you the Camry’s core hybrid setup and standard safety tech in the most affordable package.
- SE: This trim adds a sport-tuned suspension for a more responsive feel and is a strong choice if you want a little more character without moving too far up the price ladder.
- Nightshade Edition: This trim adds satin black 19-inch wheels, gloss-black exterior detailing, and a black interior with SofTex artificial leather upholstery; it’s the style-focused pick.
- XLE: This trim adds a more upscale feel and includes the touch-sensing steering wheel mentioned in the safety coverage.
- XSE: This trim adds the touch-sensing steering wheel and the sport-tuned suspension, making it the most performance-leaning choice in the lineup.
What Toyota Camry do most buyers choose?
The Toyota Camry years with the most listings are 2025, 2024, and 2026.
| Model Year | Total Listings | Good + Great Deals % |
|---|---|---|
| 2025 | 9,724 | 32.8% |
| 2024 | 9,671 | 32.8% |
| 2026 | 7,353 | 32.6% |
| 2023 | 6,556 | 32.3% |
| 2022 | 4,734 | 31.9% |
| 2021 | 3,264 | 30.1% |
These higher-volume years tend to be popular because they give you more inventory to compare, more pricing flexibility, and a better chance of finding the trim and equipment mix you want. They also sit close to the newest generation, which helps keep the shopping pool fresh.
What is the Toyota Camry's resale value?
| Model Year | Current Avg. Price | Year-Over-Year Change |
|---|---|---|
| 2025 | $29,882 | −5.28% |
| 2024 | $26,550 | −2.52% |
| 2022 | $23,677 | −2.44% |
| 2020 | $20,538 | −2.3% |
| 2019 | $18,884 | −2.3% |
| 2021 | $22,059 | −1.97% |
| 2023 | $25,217 | −1.65% |
| 2015 | $13,026 | −0.56% |
| 2018 | $17,886 | −0.38% |
| 2014 | $11,838 | +0.87% |
| 2017 | $15,071 | +1.56% |
| 2016 | $13,943 | +2.23% |
Most model years in the table are moving lower year over year, which is good news if you’re shopping used and want more room to negotiate. A few older years are rising slightly, so pricing is not moving in one direction across the board. The overall pattern still favors buyers looking at recent model years.
The 2014, 2015, and 2018 model years are holding steady, with prices close to flat year-over-year.
The 2016, 2017, and 2014 model years have held their value best, with prices flat to rising year-over-year.

Good value for a new car considering used prices are a bit crazy right now. Ride is smooth , absorbs bumps and harsh roads are not a problem for this car. I average about 60 miles to and from work everyday and so far I average 52 mpg, most of it is highway miles too. 10/10 would recommend it to anyone.

Bought a 2025 Toyota Camry hybrid yesterday and it seems like a great car. I really like the idea that I can recharge the electric battery just by breaking and letting off of the accelerator. It has a lot of room and it was comparably priced with the Corolla.

Great value. Could use a power folding side mirror option.

The Toyota Camry enters its ninth generation with the 2025 model year, and Toyota celebrates the milestone by committing to hybrid power.
What’s New for the 2025 Toyota Camry
The Camry is all-new for 2025. It debuts a new look, new features, and new colors, and sets a new baseline standard for the popular mid-size sedan.
Design
The Camry has leaned sharper and more exciting in recent years, belying its reputation for stolid reliability, and this new generation continues in that vein. The most obvious update is to the front fascia, which is now more cohesive and business-like in appearance than the old affably jumbled front end. The side profile is pretty consistent with that of the 2024 Camry, though the shape of the window surrounds has been reworked to extend further beyond the rear doorline, helping to emphasize the sloping, coupe-like roofline. The hood also extends slightly further forward to meet the vertical line established by the grille, so that the new Camry’s nose appears just a touch more assertive and less retiring.
16-inch alloy wheels are standard on the base LE trim of the 2025 Camry. SE and XLE trims get 18-inch wheels, and the top XSE trim gets 19-inch wheels finished in black and Smoke Gray. A new color called Ocean Gem debuts with the new Camry, the Heavy Metal color previously seen on the likes of the GR Corolla joins the Camry lineup as well. Shoppers who opt for the top trim XSE in one of four colors, including the two mentioned above, will be able to add a Midnight Black Metallic roof for an extra fee.
Powertrain
The 2025 Camry is exclusively hybrid-powered, and it’s the first sedan to get Toyota’s fifth-gen hybrid system. Two electric motors will work with the 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine to produce 225 horsepower in front-wheel-drive (FWD) models, and those equipped with electronic all-wheel drive (AWD) will get 232 horsepower. Both drivetrains are offered on every Camry trim for 2025. Toyota says that the suspension and braking system have been revised for improved handling and ride comfort.
Interior
The base LE trim comes with fabric seating surfaces, while SE gets SofTex synthetic leather. XLE comes with a combination of leather and microfiber and also sports a dash trimmed with quilted Dinamica microfiber, a material we’d rather avoid on high-touch areas of the cabin, particularly in the Light Gray color (the other choice, Black, may fare better over time). Finally, the top Camry XSE comes with true perforated leather seats in either Cockpit red or black lined with blue.
Heated and ventilated front seats are available for XLE and XSE trims, while dual-zone climate control and dedicated rear-seat air vents are standard across the board. 2025 marks the first time that a panoramic moonroof will be offered on a hybrid Camry; it’s available on the top two trims. Interior dimensions for the 2025 Camry are not available as of this writing.
Technology
The new Camry comes standard with an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen running wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A wireless charging pad is also standard, along with five USB ports: three for the front seats and two for the back. At least for 2025, the Camry supports both USB-A and USB-C technology. Higher trims get a 12.3-inch touchscreen and also replace the standard 7-inch digital gauge cluster with a 12.3-inch fully digital driver information display.
Safety
The 2025 Camry comes standard with the Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 (TSS 3.0) suite of advanced driver-assistance systems, including blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert. Adaptive cruise control, road-sign assist, and lane-departure alert with steering assist are also among the standard features. An available Premium Plus Package, offered on the XLE and XSE trims, adds traffic-jam assist, front-cross traffic alert, lane-change assist, front and rear parking assist with automatic braking, and a panoramic view monitor.
Pricing
As of this writing, Toyota has not yet announced pricing for the 2025 Camry. The 2024 Camry Hybrid’s base MSRP of $28,855 leads us to believe that the new Camry’s starting price will crest $30,000, though perhaps not by too much.
