How much does the RAM 1500 cost in today's market?

Used RAM 1500 prices span a wide range depending on model year. Here's what the market looks like right now:

The RAM 1500's current nationwide average price is $29,767, and its lowest point over the past year was $28,597. Recently, prices have come down for the 2024, 2025, and 2026 models, making now a good time to shop recent model years.

Is the RAM 1500 a good car?

Yes — the RAM 1500 is a strong used-truck choice if you want comfort, refinement, and everyday usability in a full-size pickup. The all-generations owner rating is 4.6/5 across every model year in the data.

Owners consistently praise the RAM 1500 for its smooth ride, upscale interiors, and spacious cabins. They also frequently highlight its strong performance, practical storage solutions, and well-designed technology as standout strengths.

Expert reviews rate the 2019 and 2025 models among the highest across all years.

What RAM 1500 do most buyers choose?

The RAM 1500 years with the most listings are 2022, 2023, and 2021.

These higher-volume model years tend to draw the most attention because they give you more inventory to compare and more chances to find the right trim, mileage, and price combination. They also often sit in the sweet spot between newer features and more accessible used pricing.

What is the RAM 1500's resale value?

Most RAM 1500 model years are down year over year, which is good news if you’re shopping used because it creates more room for value. The steepest drops are concentrated in some newer and older years, while the smallest declines are clustered near the top of the range. That pattern suggests you can often find meaningful savings without giving up the truck’s core strengths.

The 2024, 2023, and 2015 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
