Customer summary
The Mercedes-Benz GLC has garnered consistent praise from owners across all model years for its luxurious comfort, advanced technology, and powerful performance. Drivers appreciate the smooth ride and spacious interiors, making it a comfortable choice for both daily driving and long trips. However, some have expressed concerns about high maintenance costs, the complexity of certain tech features, and occasional reliability issues. Overall, the GLC stands out as a well-rounded SUV that blends style with substance, though some drivers feel the infotainment system could be more intuitive.

Should I buy a used Mercedes-Benz GLC now or wait for the next model?
Buy now if:
- Price trend: The 2025 model is at −10.56% versus a year ago, and the 2024 model is at −11.94%.
- Deal availability: The 2025 model has 34% good and great deals, and the 2024 model has 36%.
- Sweet-spot year: The 2025 model has the most listings at a current average price of $48,617. The Mercedes-Benz GLC offers a spacious cabin, a premium feel, and a smooth, comfortable driving character.
Consider waiting if:
- Powertrain/efficiency: Mercedes offers the GLC 300 SUV with rear-wheel drive (RWD) or GLC 300 4Matic all-wheel drive (AWD), plus the GLC 350e 4Matic plug-in hybrid, and the foundation of them all is the brand’s 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine situated longitudinally under the hood, and a nine-speed automatic transmission.
- Tech: As part of Mercedes’ latest third-generation suite of MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) infotainment system, steering wheel, climate control, and infotainment controls are almost all haptic, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Bluetooth connected quickly and seamlessly.
- Safety: The 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLC comes standard with blind-spot monitoring, active parking assistance, automatic high beams, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and active braking assistance.
- Starting price: To hop into a brand-new base 300 model with RWD, it’ll cost $48,250.
If you're buying used today, the 2025 model year offers the best mix of value and availability. If you want the latest tech and features, it may be worth waiting for the next model year's inventory to build up.

Customers say
The Mercedes-Benz GLC has garnered consistent praise from owners across all model years for its luxurious comfort, advanced technology, and powerful performance. Drivers appreciate the smooth ride and spacious interiors, making it a comfortable choice for both daily driving and long trips. However, some have expressed concerns about high maintenance costs, the complexity of certain tech features, and occasional reliability issues. Overall, the GLC stands out as a well-rounded SUV that blends style with substance, though some drivers feel the infotainment system could be more intuitive.

Amazing car! I was never a fan of driving until I got my Mercedes, the interior is very comfy and the drive smooth making for an enjoyable day to day driving experience. I also appreciate the visibility and amount of room available in the car making for a comfortable commute (I.e., space in the trunk for groceries, passenger space for family members, etc.). I absolutely love the cars features, my favorite being the “Hey Mercedes” command which makes it easy and safer to operate the car in a hands free manner (I.e., changing the temperature, getting navigation directions, etc.). I also like the ability to create routines within the infotainment system so the car is tailored to my needs (I.e., setting up the climate menu based on the weather). All to say, I do not believe the car is missing anything and is of an excellent value!

Overall, I really like my new 2025 Mercedes GLC 350e. The ride is smooth, comfortable, and it has great technology features. I also like the hybrid option because it helps save on gas and gives flexibility for both electric and gas driving. The design is beautiful inside and out, and it feels very luxurious. My only downside is that the interior and trunk space feel a bit smaller than I expected. If you need extra cargo room or a more spacious cabin, it may feel limited. Other than that, it’s a great SUV and I’m happy with it.
