What Mazda CX-30 do most buyers choose?

The Mazda CX-30 years with the most listings are 2024, 2025, and 2023.

Those higher-volume years tend to draw the most attention because they give you more inventory to compare and more chances to find the right color, trim, and price. They also sit close to the sweet spot between newer features and used-car value.

What is the Mazda CX-30's resale value?

Most model years are moving lower year over year, which is good news if you’re shopping used and want more value for your money. One year is edging up slightly, but the broader pattern still favors buyers looking for recent-model bargains. The biggest drops are concentrated in the newer listings, while several older years are changing more gradually.

The 2023, 2022, and 2020 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Should I buy a used Mazda CX-30 now or wait for the next model?

Buy now if:

• Price trend: The 2025 model is at −11.27% versus a year ago, and the 2024 model is at −4.0%.
• Deal availability: The 2025 model has 34.9% good and great deals, and the 2024 model has 34.6%.
• Sweet-spot year: The 2024 model has the most listings at a current average price of $23,181. The Mazda CX-30 offers a premium-feeling cabin and a stylish, fun-to-drive character that make it feel more upscale than many small crossovers.

Consider waiting if:

• Powertrain/efficiency: All CX-30 models have a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, but higher trim levels add a turbocharger; without turbocharging, the engine makes 186 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque, while the turbo cranks out 227 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque on regular gas or 250 hp/320 lb-ft on premium.
• Tech: Mazda Connect comes with an 8.8-inch display, wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and two USB-C ports, while higher trims add wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, Alexa built-in, a 10.25-inch screen, touchscreen functionality for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and wireless smartphone charging.
• Safety: For 2026, Mazda has enhanced the drivetrain with a brake-based limited-slip differential to improve traction in a variety of driving situations.
• Starting price: Prices range from $27,870 to $39,395, including the $1,495 destination charge.

If you're buying used today, the 2024 model year offers the best mix of value and availability. If you want the latest tech and features, it may be worth waiting for the next model year's inventory to build up.
