Which Lexus UX Hybrid trim should I buy?
The 2021 Lexus UX Hybrid offers...
- UX 250h AWD: This is the entry point and the best-value choice if you want the core UX Hybrid formula with standard all-wheel drive, a refined interior, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Amazon Alexa, and a long list of comfort features.
- UX 250h F-Sport AWD: This trim adds unique exterior styling, unique wheels, LC-inspired instrumentation, active sound control, steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters, a sport-tuned suspension, and unique sport seats.
- UX 250h Luxury AWD: This is the upscale pick, adding a foot-activated hands-free power rear hatch, acoustic sound-deadening glass, memory settings for the driver’s seat and side mirrors, heated and ventilated front seats, wireless and illuminated air vent knobs, aluminum door sills, a power moonroof, and rain-sensing wipers.
- UX 250h Black Line Special Edition: This trim adds dark accents plus contrasting blue stitching and blue seat belts while keeping the UX Hybrid’s core luxury and efficiency character.
What Lexus UX Hybrid do most buyers choose?
The Lexus UX Hybrid years with the most listings are 2024, 2025, and 2023.
| Model Year | Total Listings | Good + Great Deals % | |---|---|---|---| | 2024 | 317 | 32.8% | | 2025 | 254 | 31.9% | | 2023 | 218 | 32.6% | | 2022 | 168 | 33.3% | | 2020 | 167 | 27.5% | | 2026 | 142 | 33.1% |
Higher-volume years usually give you more shopping choice, which can make it easier to compare prices, trims, and condition. They also tend to be the years buyers cross-shop most often because inventory is deeper and deal opportunities are easier to find.
What is the Lexus UX Hybrid's resale value?
| Model Year | Current Avg. Price | Year-Over-Year Change | |---|---|---|---| | 2019 | $25,175 | −5.09% | | 2020 | $27,009 | −3.26% | | 2024 | $35,484 | −2.5% | | 2021 | $28,124 | −1.88% | | 2023 | $33,307 | +0.17% | | 2025 | $39,972 | +0.72% |
Most of the model years in this set are moving lower year over year, which can work in your favor if you’re shopping used. A couple of newer years are essentially flat to slightly higher, showing that demand remains steady for the freshest examples. The overall pattern suggests you can still find value, especially among the years with the larger declines.
The 2023 and 2025 model years are holding steady, with prices close to flat year-over-year.
The 2025, 2023, and 2021 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Consider waiting if:
- Powertrain/efficiency: No matter what trim you select, the UX 250h is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. It is paired with two electric motors to put out 181 combined horsepower.
- Tech: The screen does support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and the Lexus premium stereo system is fantastic.
- Safety: Standard driver-assistance features include automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warning, pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, automatic high beams, traffic-sign recognition, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert.
- Starting price: Base MSRP for the 2021 Lexus UX 250h is $35,200.

Great legroom, head room is a little tight (I’m 6’4”) but definitely enough room. Tons of awesome features and handles very smooth.

Complicated features adjustments. Radio, etc. Could not get the 12.5 inch info screen I wanted. Very small leg room in rear seats. Very limited supply of these vehicles these days. 42 MPG. I get 43. Outstanding vehicle. Great turning radius. Outstanding vehicle for singles or empty nesters who like the feel of a small vehicle.
