Higher-listing years tend to be the easiest places to shop because you get more inventory to compare and a better chance of finding the right color, mileage, and equipment mix. They also tend to be the most visible choices for used shoppers because selection and deal availability are both strong.

Should I buy a used Lexus TX Hybrid now or wait for the next model?

Buy now if:

• Price trend: The 2024 model is at −8.17% versus a year ago.
• Deal availability: The 2024 model has 29.6% good and great deals.
• Sweet-spot year: The 2025 model has the most listings.
• The Lexus TX Hybrid offers a roomy three-row cabin that makes it especially appealing if you want family-friendly space and a luxury feel in one package.

Consider waiting if:

• Powertrain/efficiency: Lexus builds the TX 550h+ model’s plug-in hybrid powertrain around a 3.5-liter V6 engine, which is great, but it’s paired with a hybrid system that mimics a continuously variable transmission (CVT), which is not. These components pair with a Direct4 two-motor all-wheel-drive (AWD) system and an 18.1-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery pack for a combined total of 404 horsepower.
• Tech: The Lexus Interface infotainment system includes wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, SiriusXM satellite radio, and generous complimentary subscriptions to connected services such as Drive Connect, which provides access to a cloud-based navigation system and a conversational digital voice assistant.
• Safety: The standard Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 (LSS+ 3.0) includes adaptive cruise control, forward-collision warning, pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, lane-centering assist, traffic-sign assist, high-beam assist, and Proactive Driving Assist.
• Starting price: Prices range from $58,290 to $82,160, including the $1,550 destination charge.

If you're buying used today, the 2025 model year offers the best mix of value and availability. If you want the latest tech and features, it may be worth waiting for the next model year's inventory to build up.
