The 2023 Lexus LX is one year removed from a complete redesign that boasts a bold, imposing grille design. For 2023, the LX gains a heated, leather-wrapped steering wheel as standard equipment. Takanoha wood accents have been added to the Luxury trim.

Design

Trims for the Lexus LX are Standard, Premium, F Sport Handling, Luxury, and Ultra Luxury. The F Sport offers standout performance-inspired styling elements. The Luxury and Ultra Luxury trims include 22-inch forged alloy wheels with machine finish.

Powertrain

The 2023 LX 600 comes standard with a twin-turbocharged 3.4-liter V6 which produces 409 horsepower. A 10-speed automatic routes power to four-wheel drive (4WD). The LX provides 8.9 inches of ground clearance and low-speed crawl control for the trail. When properly equipped, the LX can tow up to 8,000 pounds.

Selecting the F Sport trim adds a limited-slip differential, a sport-tuned suspension, a rear sway bar, and performance dampers.

Fuel economy estimates for the 2023 Lexus LX are 17 mpg city, 22 highway, and 19 combined. The LX requires premium fuel.

Interior

Standard features on the 2023 LX include leather upholstery, power-adjustable front seats, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and a power moonroof. In two-row models, the base LX provides 46 cubic feet of rear space, and the Ultra-Luxury has 41 cubic feet behind the rear seats. A power lift gate is standard and a hands-free power lift gate is available.

Technology

The LX features a dual-screen center console with a 7-inch lower screen and a 12.3-inch upper screen. The lower screen operates the climate controls, seat controls, and vehicle settings. The upper screen is home to the infotainment system, with support for wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The LX also comes with a fully digital instrument panel, wireless device charging, four USB ports, and a Wi-Fi hotspot.

Safety

Standard driver-assistance features for the 2023 LX include forward collision warning, pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, automatic high beams, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert.
