- Infotainment: standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with a 12.3-inch touchscreen and 12.3-inch digital instrumentation panel.
- Range & charging: a 63-kilowatt-hour (kWh) battery pack and an electric motor that powers the rear wheels, a driving range of 237 miles, a larger 84-kWh battery, range varies from 270 to 310 miles, and the battery up from 10% to 80% in about 20 minutes.
- Battery health: check battery state-of-health, review how the vehicle has been charged over time, and confirm remaining battery warranty coverage before you buy.
Which Kia EV6 trim should I buy?
The 2025 Kia EV6 offers these trims:
- Light: The entry trim uses a 63-kilowatt-hour battery pack, rear-wheel drive, and 167 horsepower, making it the simplest way into the lineup.
- Light Long Range: This trim adds the larger 84-kWh battery and a longer driving range, making it the best-value choice for many shoppers.
- Wind: This version pairs the 84-kWh battery with more power and available all-wheel drive, giving you a stronger all-around setup.
- GT-Line: This trim adds the dual-motor AWD setup, upscale presentation, and the kind of equipment that suits buyers who want a more premium-feeling EV6.
- GT: The performance-focused GT brings the highest-output setup, an electronic limited-slip differential, drift mode, and sport bucket seats for buyers who want the most aggressive version.

Should I buy a used Kia EV6 now or wait for the next model?
Buy now if:

- Deal availability: The 2024 model has 36% good and great deals, and the 2023 model has 36.3%.
- Sweet-spot year: The 2023 model has the most listings at a current average price of $26,391. The Kia EV6 offers a stylish, premium-feeling cabin with a sporty character that makes it stand out in the segment.
Consider waiting if:
- Range & charging: The EV6 Light has a 63-kilowatt-hour (kWh) battery pack and offers a driving range of 237 miles, while the larger 84-kWh battery can deliver range from 270 to 310 miles and charge the battery up from 10% to 80% in about 20 minutes.
- Tech: standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus a 12.3-inch touchscreen display married to a 12.3-inch digital instrumentation panel.
- Safety: Highway Driving Assist 2 technology pairs adaptive cruise control with lane-centering assist and lane-change assist.
- Starting price: Kia sells the 2025 EV6 in Light, Light Long Range, Wind, GT-Line, and GT trim levels with prices ranging from $44,395 to $65,295, including the $1,495 destination charge.
If you're buying used today, the 2023 model year offers the best mix of value and availability. If you want the latest tech and features, it may be worth waiting for the next model year's inventory to build up.

I purchased a 2022 Kia EV6 Wind AWD with about 8k miles on it in September. Drove it the last 4 months and it was a very responsive and great handling car. I had multiple issues with Chargepoint and ended up replacing it with a Wallbox home charger. The wallbox is faster (11.5 kw/h) as well and much more reliable. I totaled the car last week and had zero injuries thanks to the amazing crash worthiness and safety features. I have to shop for a new car and I will probably get another one. Price/quality is right up there ! Some of the features are a little quirky to use and I dont like that the apple car play must be plugged in still. Probably my only negatives.

Expensive for normal features. I can get similar features in Hyundai kona, Kia nero or Nissan leaf. Alternative options are better than this.
