Key things to evaluate:

• Infotainment: standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with a 12.3-inch touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital instrumentation panel.
• Range & charging: 63-kWh battery pack, 237 miles of driving range, 84-kWh battery, 270 to 310 miles of range, and 10% to 80% in about 20 minutes.
• Battery health: check battery state-of-health, review how the car has been charged between home charging and DC fast charging, and confirm remaining battery warranty coverage.

Which Kia EV6 trim should I buy?

• Light: The entry trim brings rear-wheel drive, a 63-kWh battery pack, and 167 horsepower, making it the most affordable way into the lineup.
• Light Long Range: This trim adds the larger 84-kWh battery and longer range, making it the best-value choice for many shoppers who want more distance between charges.
• Wind: This version pairs the larger battery with stronger output and available all-wheel drive, giving you a more versatile setup.
• GT-Line: This trim adds dual-motor AWD, 320 hp, premium interior touches, and upscale features such as ventilated front seats, a power liftgate, a Meridian audio system, a head-up display, and a surround-view camera system.

What Kia EV6 do most buyers choose?

The Kia EV6 years with the most listings are 2023, 2024, and 2025.

Higher-listing years tend to be the easiest to shop because you get more inventory to compare, which can help you find the right trim, color, and price. They also tend to be the years most buyers gravitate toward when looking for a balance of availability and value.

What is the Kia EV6's resale value?

The table shows steady downward movement across the model years listed, which can work in your favor if you’re shopping used. The declines are meaningful but not extreme, and they suggest that recent EV6 models have become more accessible without a dramatic collapse in value.

The 2022, 2023, and 2024 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Is the Kia EV6 safe?

• 2025: 7/10
• 2022: 9/10

The 2025 EV6 includes Highway Driving Assist 2, which pairs adaptive cruise control with lane-centering assist and lane-change assist.

For the safest used buy, the 2022 model posts the highest confirmed score of 9/10.

Should I buy a used Kia EV6 now or wait for the next model?

Buy now if:

Consider waiting if:

• Range & charging: 63-kilowatt-hour (kWh) battery pack, offers a driving range of 237 miles, larger 84-kWh battery, range varies from 270 to 310 miles, and brings the battery up from 10% to 80% in about 20 minutes.

• Safety: Highway Driving Assist 2 technology pairs adaptive cruise control with lane-centering assist and lane-change assist.
• Starting price: Kia sells the 2025 EV6 in Light, Light Long Range, Wind, GT-Line, and GT trim levels with prices ranging from $44,395 to $65,295.
