New Hyundai Palisade Hybrid for Sale nearSpring Dale, WV

Is the Hyundai Palisade Hybrid a good car?

The 2026 Hyundai Palisade Hybrid stands out because it adds a hybrid powertrain to Hyundai’s big three-row family SUV for the first time. That change gives it excellent fuel economy and the ability to travel over 600 miles on a single tank of fuel, addressing one of the few weaknesses in the Palisade’s appeal. It is also described as more powerful than the gas model, while still offering a comfortable interior.

There are a few tradeoffs to keep in mind. The engine can sound unrefined at times, and the Palisade Hybrid is not as spacious as segment leaders. Even so, its combination of efficiency, power, and a more luxurious feel in higher trim levels makes it a distinctive choice for buyers who want a family SUV that feels special without sacrificing fuel economy.

Expert reviews rate the 2026 model among the highest across all years.

The main recurring tradeoffs are an engine note that can sound unrefined at times, a cabin that trails segment leaders for space, and a price that climbs quickly in higher trims.

29.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
