Is the Hyundai Palisade Hybrid a good car?

The 2026 Hyundai Palisade Hybrid stands out because Hyundai has added a hybrid powertrain to its big three-row family SUV for the first time. That change gives the Palisade Hybrid a clear advantage for buyers who want a large crossover without the usual fuel-economy penalty, and the available range of over 600 miles on a single tank of fuel makes it especially appealing for long-distance driving. It is also described as more powerful than the gas model, which helps it feel like more than just an efficiency-focused version of the SUV.

Expert reviews rate the 2026 model among the highest across all years.

The main trade-offs called out by experts are that it is not as spacious as segment leaders, and the engine can sound unrefined at times.

34.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

What should I look for when buying a used Hyundai Palisade Hybrid?

Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: Hyundai SmartSense, including blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic assist, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, blind-view monitor on the SEL Premium and up, and safe-exit alert.

The 2026 Hyundai Palisade Hybrid offers these trims:

• SEL: The entry trim brings 18-inch alloy wheels, H-Tex synthetic leatherette upholstery, an eight-way power driver’s seat with two-way lumbar support, three-stage heating for the front seats, and a strong value position for shoppers who want the core Palisade Hybrid experience.
• SEL Premium: This trim adds power-folding and auto-dimming side mirrors, blind-view monitor, and available upgrades such as four-way lumbar adjustment, seat ventilation, and integrated driver’s seat memory settings; it’s the best-value choice if you want the most meaningful everyday upgrades.
• Limited: This trim adds acoustic side glass to the rear windows, seat ventilation, and a 14-speaker Bose stereo, while also bringing a more upscale cabin feel.
