Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: Honda Sensing, including forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and Road Departure Mitigation.
• Infotainment: a 9-inch touchscreen with Bluetooth, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, and wireless phone charging.
• Fuel efficiency: Most Ridgeline models return an EPA-rated 21 mpg combined (18 mpg city, 24 mpg highway), although TrailSport models are slightly less efficient.

Which Honda Ridgeline trim should I buy?

The 2025 Honda Ridgeline offers these trims:

• Sport: The entry trim starts with standard AWD, a V6 engine, a 9-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless phone charging, and Honda Sensing safety tech, making it the best-value choice for shoppers who want the core Ridgeline formula.
• RTL: Adds a more upscale feel and sits above Sport for buyers who want more comfort and convenience without moving to the off-road-focused model.
• TrailSport: Adds all-terrain tires, unique suspension tuning, and a front skid plate, making it the pick for buyers who want the most rugged setup in the lineup.
• Black Edition: The range-topping trim adds the most premium presentation, including an eight-speaker audio system and rear USB-C ports.

What Honda Ridgeline do most buyers choose?

The Honda Ridgeline years with the most listings are 2024, 2023, and 2022.

These higher-volume years tend to be popular because they offer a strong mix of availability, recent features, and pricing that still sits below new-vehicle levels. More listings also give you more room to compare condition, mileage, and deal quality.

What is the Honda Ridgeline's resale value?

Most Ridgeline model years are down year over year, which is good news if you want to buy used after prices have softened. The declines are generally meaningful, with several recent years showing solid drops from where they were a year ago. One older model year moved up instead, showing that not every version follows the same pattern.

The 2014, 2024, and 2019 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Consider waiting if:
