Which Ford Mustang Mach-E trim should I buy?
The 2026 Ford Mustang Mach-E offers these trims:
- Select: The entry trim starts the lineup with the single-motor rear-wheel-drive setup, and it can also be equipped with dual motors and the Extended Range battery. It suits buyers who want the Mach-E experience at the lowest starting point.
- Premium: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds more comfort and equipment while still keeping the Mach-E’s core style and capability. It can be had with rear-wheel drive or dual motors, plus the Extended Range battery.
- GT: This trim brings the stronger performance setup, bigger 20-inch wheels, sport seats with bigger bolsters, and a more aggressive look.
- Rally: The Rally adds the off-road-inspired setup, standard Performance Upgrade, underbody protection for the front and rear motors, a higher ride height, and rally-specific styling details.
What Ford Mustang Mach-E do most buyers choose?
The Ford Mustang Mach-E years with the most listings are 2024, 2023, and 2022.
| Model Year | Total Listings | Good + Great Deals % |
|---|---|---|
| 2024 | 2,079 | 36.8% |

| 2021 | 456 | 39.3% |

- Tech: The latest model includes a 15.5-inch center touchscreen and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
- Safety: The latest model adds Ford’s Co-Pilot 360 Assist+ suite and BlueCruise hands-free driver-assist system.

Nice external look. Zippy. I don’t love the vertical positioning of the computer. And minor but the door for the charger has a dimple in it, making it look like the car has a dent.

The newly updated Mach-E GT has some great features from the previous GT Performance Editions, but Ford has removed some standard options from previous year models. One big one is the hands free rear trunk option. The Magride suspension is amazing. Overall, I think the new GT’s are a great value at the reduced price point (compared to my 2021 GT).

Ford Mustang Mach-E test drive
overall

The 2026 Ford Mustang Mach-E attacks the electric SUV segment with good looks and practicality.
Every automaker needs a successful electric SUV, and the best way to go about that is to make it look good. Ford’s bread-and-butter electric SUV does that by borrowing design elements from the legendary Mustang coupe and convertible, teaming them with a roomy interior and useful electric driving range. Offered in a variety of trims, the Mach-E works as a practical daily driver and can be had with big-time power and even as a rally-inspired trail beast.
Verdict: The Ford Mustang Mach-E’s appealing looks are backed up by a practical interior, a viable range, and a variety of trim levels. It doesn’t charge as quickly or go as far as some rivals and the ride could be better, but the Mach-E offers style in a market sadly lacking it.
