The High Country trim is the top spec of Chevy’s Silverado 2500 Heavy Duty pick-up truck. While a gas-powered V8 is standard, a 6.6-liter Duramax V8 diesel can be had as well, producing 445 horsepower and 910 pound-feet of torque. The High Country can handle up to 3,576 pounds of payload or tow up to 20,000 pounds of conventional towing. A fifth wheel or gooseneck trailer ups that number to 21,600 pounds. Some advanced driver’s aids like blind-spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert are also standard.
