Sure you can get a truck with all kinds of fancy-pants features, but some folks just need something for the job. Enter the Chevy Silverado 1500 WT, or Work Truck. Available in myriad cab and bed combinations, the WT comes standard with a high-output four-cylinder engine. However, buyers can upgrade to a 5.3-liter V8 with a 10-speed automatic transmission as well. Two-wheel drive is standard but four-wheel drive is a common upgrade. Don’t expect any luxury on the WT.
