The Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 is an incredibly capable, off-road-ready mid-size truck. Introduced for the 2017 model year, it builds on the function-first Colorado and adds comprehensive chassis gear for tackling the trail. In addition to a standard four-wheel drive (4WD) with low range, the ZR2 boasts rock sliders, advanced dampers, electronically locking front-and-rear differentials, and beefed-up underbody skid plates. The whole package is capped off with wider fenders and more aggressive bumpers designed for approaching and clearing obstacles. The ZR2 comes standard with a gas V6 engine and is available with a 2.8-liter Duramax turbodiesel four-cylinder engine. In 2021, the ZR2 was updated with a new front-end design to make it stand out even more from the rest of the lineup.
