The size of the BMW XM places it in the stable between the X5 and X7, though its unusual lines make it hard to guess at its competition at a glance. The creases, bulges and angles form a high beltline and a low roof, compressing the window height and giving the impression that the XM is more low-slung wagon than airy SUV, both inside and out. Blocky, protruding arches frame standard 23-inch alloy wheels, though numerous 22- and 23-inch designs are optional. Other visual upgrades include red or blue brake calipers and NightGold Metallic trim.
Powertrain
