New Acura MDX for Sale near Equality, AL
The popular Acura MDX receives a light makeover, with noteworthy additions happening inside its cabin. An upgraded touchscreen interface, available Bang & Olufsen stereo, and enhanced safety features should keep it competitive in the luxury three-row crossover segment.
## What’s New for 2025
Already the best-selling three-row luxury crossover of all time, the MDX won’t be caught standing still in 2025. The newly refreshed SUV benefits from some significant interior, tech, and safety enhancements, including a Google-equipped touchscreen and an available 31-speaker stereo.
## Design
It will be hard to notice differences between the 2025 and 2024 MDX, but eagle-eyed enthusiasts may notice the redesigned grille, darkened headlights, and redesigned lower bumper. Acura is also offering a new set of wheel designs for the 2025 MDX, and the top-spec Acura MDX Type S gets a new set of 21-inch rims to go along with its quad exhaust pipes. Some new colors arrive, as well. Canyon River Blue Metallic will be available on every trim level except the A-Spec and A-Spec with Advance Package, and Urban Gray Pearl will be available on all but the A-Spec with Advance Package.
## Powertrain
There are no powertrain changes for the 2025 Acura MDX. The base engine is still a naturally aspirated 3.5-liter V6 making 290 horsepower and 267 pound-feet of torque. Buy an MDX Type S, and you’ll enjoy a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 that makes 355 hp and 354 lb-ft. Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) comes standard on the Type S. Non-Type-S MDX models can be equipped with either front-wheel drive (FWD) or SH-AWD. Regardless of engine or drivetrain, every MDX employs a 10-speed automatic transmission.
## Interior
At long last, Acura’s True Touchpad Interface (TTI) is gone from the MDX. This deletion frees up some space between the front seats, and Acura has made good use of it, adding a standard wireless charging pad alongside two tandem-placed cupholders. A small volume knob and seek-button rocker switch sit ahead of the charging pad, next to a handy cubby chiseled out of the center console.
Advance Package and A-Spec with Advance Package models get quilted Milano leather seats with 16-way adjustment and 9-way massage, and Acura promises further refinements create a quieter cabin.
## Technology
It bears repeating: Acura’s TTI is no longer present in the MDX. In its place is a more intuitive 12.3-inch touchscreen interface equipped with Google Built-in. This means features like Google Maps, Google Assistant, and a variety of other Google products are available via the touchscreen without needing any sort of phone projection.
The other big tech highlight in the MDX is a new Bang and Olufsen stereo. While the Type S will garner the headlines with a 31-speaker iteration of this new audio system, even lower trims come with a 19-speaker system (which includes four ceiling-embedded speakers). The base stereo is an unbranded 11-speaker unit.
## Safety
For the 2025 MDX, Acura has updated its AcuraWatch suite of safety systems, and a new AcuraWatch 360 adds further capabilities to the MDX Type S. The key ingredients are a new radar sensor and new sensors at all four corners. The updated system can redirect the vehicle back into the lane if the driver begins to wander; other safety updates include improvements to adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and lane-change alert.
## Pricing
The 2025 Acura MDX is expected to go on sale in May of 2024. For this year, the Type S now comes standard with the Advance package, which will increase its base price over the 2024 model, but with the inclusion of additional content. Although pricing has not yet been announced, we expect pricing to start in the $53,500 range and climb toward the $77,000 range with the top-trim Type S.

What people say

Infinity 80 like that car very much so nothing is wrong with this car arlt all everything else is done with care
Test drove the 2024 MDX SH-AWD, second trim level from the bottom. Extremely impressive quality and ride. Couldn’t get past the nearly $60 k out the door stealership price. But nice car!
Initial impressions of our MDX Type S Advance - powerful, smooth & quiet. Excellent value. Cross shopped Q7 & X5. Comparably equipped, they are $10K more than the MDX. Would like to see a bit better quality feel in dash switch gear and materials as well as A/C vents for the third row. Also a bit less of the piano black treatment.
The car is awesome. Got a good deal on it.
