After plenty of teaser images, Acura revealed its 2023 Integra prototype in November of 2021. Production on the consumer-ready Integra is expected to begin in the first half of 2022, and it will be built at the company’s Marysville Auto Plant in Ohio. Other than those price and timing details, there’s still plenty to wonder. Luckily, a few key details are already available. The 2023 Acura Integra will be a four-door coupe with a liftback design, blending the popular liftback-coupe styling of classic 1990s Integras with the more modern demand for four-door practicality. Prices should start around $30,000, meaning this Integra will be a true entry level opportunity into the luxury class. The new Integra will receive a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine equipped with the company’s VTEC management system. Although horsepower and torque figures have not yet been released, the high-output engine will pair with a six-speed manual transmission (and, undoubtedly, an automatic transmission will also be offered). Shades of the Honda Civic are definitely evident in the new Integra’s exterior design, although the large pentagonal grille and massive “Integra” decals—at least on the prototype—help clarify that this is not, in fact, a mere Honda. At the rear, a decklid spoiler gives the Integra some sporty charm, dual exhaust outlets draw attention to the Integra’s width, and big rear wheel arches give it a muscular presence. The Integra prototype was fitted with 19-inch wheels, Brembo performance brakes, and it was painted a very bright Indy Yellow Pearl. The company noted that the shade of yellow was chosen in homage to the 2000-2001 Integra’s iconic Phoenix Yellow paint option. Whether or not that color remains available in production (let alone the huge decals) is still to be seen. Regardless, the world can rest easy, knowing that Acura’s famed sport-compact model is on its way back to production.

Car performance is horrible and price is way up-marked, can’t believe sales people are even trying to sell this junk. I am going to buy a Hyundai Elantra N for half the price and the same performance lol -__-

The Acura Integra Type S (2024) is designed for the enthusiast!!! I can not say enough good things regarding this absolutely wonderful ride!!! Put your seatbelt on, this car has the fun of the old Integra with the class of the old Legend combined!!! The 6-sp transmission is not only a good time, it’s fast, and has a large mid-range…. The technology is seamless, leaving everything hands free. Safety features are all there, if you like them but can be disabled if you’re anything like me and want to become one with the vehicle. The power and control are tuned to perfection. Plenty of space, more than is necessary in the Type S as it is a next level sports ride. But not only that, it has three driver modes, luxury, sport & sport plus! In addition it does have four doors and a hatch so you can use this as a daily driver even if you have a family! I also have a large SUV, but my grandchildren LOVE getting a ride in the Integra from time to time. We’ve purchased more than one MDX from this very same dealer and none were a regret of disappointment in any way, I suspect I will feel the same when this car reaches OVER 200k mileage! As always, this, particular dealer always rolls out the red carpet! They are ready when I pull into the garage. Their communication is superb. When I return to get my vehicle the same thing in reverse everything is perfect and seamless. Today I happen to have my granddaughter with me and they did everything they could to ensure proper transfer of my car seat. Easy convenient transfer of my car seat. Everything is always top notch. The reason I continue to buy Acura vehicles for my family is for that reason in particular service top-notch reliability of vehicles top notch I don’t even look elsewhere for the most part I do have other branded vehicles and if I have to take them in for repairs it’s dreadful, and they are high end vehicles as well. I am a repeat customer, as are my adult children… Never have we been disappointed for ANY reason when working with Acura & the staff in every department!!!
