I think it’s overpriced for what it is. Interior is not appealing especially with the cloth dashboard and same pattern I’m on the seats. A bit difficult to get used to the knob for drive and reverse. It felt dated and not worth the price. If the car were $10,000 less than what was listed I may have been more interested in purchasing it.

I was impressed with the comfortable seats and the arrangement of actual push button controls on the steering wheel…I loved the glass roof even though it did not open…I also loved the ground clearance and the large wheels…My only issue was range (in general) that also would be greatly reduced when using heat or air….After reading that batteries should not be charged more than twice on the same day at a fast charging station to protect batteries…We need to be able to travel 640 miles when visiting family…

Why it stands out
The 2023 Toyota bZ4X marks a major shift for Toyota, which is not known for battery-electric vehicles. It is Toyota’s first electric car for the United States market aimed at volume sales, and it arrives as a small crossover aimed at the heart of the market. Toyota also keeps the lineup simple, with XLE and Limited trim levels and either single-motor front-wheel drive or dual-motor all-wheel drive powertrains.
On the road, the bZ4X stands out for its great handling and comfortable ride. It also includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which adds everyday convenience. At the same time, the design may be polarizing, the technology can be unintuitive, and it may not represent strong value for money.
