Car has extensive peeling clear coat on the roof. Minor peeling on the back hatch. Passenger doors have large dents. Red paint faded all around. Engine is quiet and seems to run fine. Chose not to test drive. Cost is too high for condition.

Tha car is very very reliable, I had no problem with the mileage was very very and run great. I dont think it needs anything, everything works on it I mean everything. It did not leak any oil at all.

This is a great fun car to drive, awesome gas mileage. Perfect for a small family, student or just about anyone! You can't go wrong with a fun zippy ride for the right price! Has a lot of cargo space too

This is one of the best cars I have ever owned. It looked great and stylish from the day we got it to two years later covered in snow. It's sporty, fun to drive, handles well and can hold a bunch of stuff. Lay flat back seats really makes a nice option for transporting larger items. Toyota reliability means a lot to me; I have owned 4 in a row and never have any issues with them. Doing all the regular maintenance helps and keep from having any issues later. Just a fantastic vehicle all around.

The Matrix is Toyota's foray into the nascent “CUV“ segment: Car Utility Vehicles. As the name suggests, the Matrix is a mixture of coupe, hatchback, and SUV elements.
The Matrix was introduced in 2003, and took the place of the Corolla wagon, which was retired in 1997. It provides increased storage space and length when compared to a coupe or hatchback, but doesn't ride as high as an SUV, so it's not as prone to rollovers. As expected, fuel economy is somewhere in the middle between the great results of the compact coupes and the relatively worse fuel economy usage of many SUVs.
The Matrix is actually a collaboration between Toyota and General Motors. The GM version is the Pontiac Vibe, which looks quite different from the Matrix, but the two cars are very similar mechanically.
The Matrix is marketed to a younger consumer. So far, sales have been strong and the Matrix is frequently seen on the road.
