The Toyota Cressida has a strong reputation among owners across its model years for reliability, solid performance, and comfort. Drivers appreciate its spacious interiors, handling, and powerful engines, often noting it as a well-built, dependable vehicle that performs well on the road. However, some common concerns include high maintenance costs, outdated technology, and occasional mechanical issues. Overall, the Cressida is seen as a classic choice for those looking for a smooth ride with good power.

This is the only dream car I ever purchased. I loved the get up and go in this car. It would fly. I got rid of this car way too soon. I loved the ride, the stereo, the seats, I loved everything. I drove it to death. Still love this car

Has a 1JZ-GTE 2500 Twin Turbo engine swap from a 1991 Toyota Supra, and 5 speed manual. Fast in a straight line! Handling is average. Fun car all round, grandad race car! Looks stock from the outside, brown paint job etc but has grunt under the hood! Huge intercooler and 3" exhaust. A fun car to build and im glad with the results. Future things I would do is wider wheels and better handling then it would be awesome.

Mechanics are bullet proof, but the metal is bad quality. Performance-wise it's not a bad car, it won't win many drag races, but has fairly good roadholding for a 70's saloon. They get faster as more metal dissolves. :p

This is a 1990 Cressida Grande. It is in completely original condition and is fully loaded. As standard it has power windows, electric mirrors, electric sunroof, power adjust driver seat, tilt column steering, cruise control, climate control, six speaker stereo with in dash CD and tape player, climate control and the list goes on....... It runs a 3 litre in line six cylinder with double over head cam and fuel injection. Transmission is a 4 speed auto with overdrive and ECTS and backed up by a limited slip diff in the rear. Outside the car has been to refered to as a Grampa car but its style grows on you and its paint job is still as shiny as the day it rolled of the assembly line. Overall i love this car. On the open road it has the power to compete with V8s and at the traffic lights its accelaration will make your head snap back against the seat.
