Used Toyota Corolla for Sale nearLasara, TX

How much does the Toyota Corolla cost in today's market?

Used Toyota Corolla prices span a wide range depending on model year. Here's what the market looks like right now:

The Toyota Corolla's current nationwide average price is $18,302, and its lowest point over the past year was $16,762. Recently, prices have come down for the 2024 and 2025 models, making now a good time to shop recent model years.

Is the Toyota Corolla a good car?

Yes — the Toyota Corolla is a strong used-car pick if you want a practical compact car with broad appeal and a long-running reputation for dependable ownership. The all-generations owner rating is 4.33/5 across every model year in the data.

Owners consistently praise its reliability, fuel economy, and low maintenance costs, and recent models also draw positive feedback for their technology and everyday usability. Across the lineup, the Corolla’s practical character, comfortable driving experience, and value-focused ownership story come through again and again.

Expert reviews rate the 2014 and 2021 models among the highest across all years.

The main tradeoffs in recent expert reviews are noisy road manners, fuel economy that can trail expectations in some versions, and a stereo that is not a highlight.

37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

Are Toyota Corolla models reliable?

The Corolla’s reputation for reliability shows up clearly in both owner feedback and expert coverage, with recurring praise for dependable operation, low running costs, and easy day-to-day ownership. Recent models also get credit for practical features and a sensible ownership experience that fits the Corolla name well.

• Owners rate the Toyota Corolla between 3.0 and 5.0 out of 5 stars across all model years in the data.

For used buyers, long-term ownership risk is generally low, especially if you choose a well-maintained example and verify service history.

What should I look for when buying a used Toyota Corolla?

Across all model years, at 71.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

Older model years carry meaningfully higher accident rates, so always verify the vehicle history report on pre-2023 models.

Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense 3.0
• Infotainment: larger 10.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
• Fuel efficiency: 169 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 151 pound-feet of torque at 4,400 rpm

Which Toyota Corolla trim should I buy?

The 2025 Toyota Corolla offers these trims:

• LE: the entry point for the sedan lineup, suited to shoppers who want the Corolla’s core practicality and value.
• SE: the sweet-spot trim, with appealing features through the Convenience and Premium option packages and a better balance of equipment and price.
• XSE: the top sedan trim in this lineup, adding the most upscale feel and access to the JBL premium sound system.
• XLE: available with the hybrid powertrain, for buyers who want a more upscale hybrid setup.
• FX: a style-and-driving-focused sedan with a lowered sport suspension, sport-tuned steering, 18-inch wheels, blacked-out exterior details, and a Moonstone-color interior.

What Toyota Corolla do most buyers choose?

The Toyota Corolla years with the most listings are 2025, 2024, and 2023.

These higher-volume years tend to be popular because they give you more inventory to compare, more pricing flexibility, and a newer feature set that still sits within a used-car budget. They also line up with the Corolla’s strongest recent updates, which makes them especially appealing to shoppers who want modern equipment without moving all the way to a new car.

What is the Toyota Corolla's resale value?

Most Corolla model years in this table are down year over year, which is good news if you are shopping used and want to benefit from softer pricing. A few years are flat to slightly higher, showing that some versions are still holding value well. Overall, the pattern favors buyers looking for recent-model bargains.

The 2015, 2020, and 2023 model years are holding steady, with prices close to flat year-over-year.

The 2016, 2014, and 2019 model years have held their value best, with prices flat to rising year-over-year.
