I loved this car!!! It wasnt the most stylish car, but I was just so dam reliable. I had it for 3 years and took it way over 100k miles. Only ever done servicing and general ware and tear reapirs. Excellent comfy mile muncher!

I bought this car when I knew I was coming out of the motor trade because i wanted something cheap and reliable. It proved to be both, never, ever went wrong in 5 years of ownership, and it is still going strong ( I sold it to a neighbour) Quite a sporty looking car, surprisingly quick for a 1.6 and lots of room inside. It was very well equipped for a "base model", power steering, central locking, 4 electric windows, electric sunroof and a huge boot.

I own a 1991 2.0 Gli Carina. It has gone 327000km, still has its original generator,waterpump and clutch. Its very reliable, starts first time. Rust is not a big problem if you make sure to antirust treat it. Still has some oomph in its 2 litre engine.

Overall I love the car! It has got bonkers styling (still no JDM quad headlights) and it is still quite strong. However its 2T engine is a bit weak and cornering is quite bad... The cornering was improved already after going for wider Celica XX mk2 alloys and tires. Currently awaiting a 2T-B carburetor upgrade and lowering springs to improve the ride!
