Furthermore, the Model 3's access to the extensive Supercharger network and its various trims cater to a wide range of consumer needs, making it an attractive choice for both newcomers and EV enthusiasts alike.
Other model years to consider
The 2018 and 2019 Tesla Model 3 models are good alternatives for buyers seeking value. With average prices of approximately $19,091 and $19,823 respectively, both years offer competitive pricing along with high user ratings of 4.8/5 and 4.6/5. Additionally, they feature a substantial percentage of good or great deals, at 38% for the 2018 model and 37% for the 2019 model, making them appealing options in the current market.
The 2020 Model 3 is also a moderately suitable choice, priced at about $21,198 with a user rating of 4.7/5 and a slightly lower rate of good/great deals at 34%.
Model years to approach with caution
When evaluating the Tesla Model 3 across different model years, buyers should consider the average prices and user feedback to make informed decisions. The 2022 model stands out as the most suitable option with a strong user rating of 4.6/5, despite a notable percentage of listings not categorized as good deals, indicating potential price negotiation opportunities. In contrast, earlier models like the 2017 and later models such as the 2025 and 2026 versions show less favorable market positioning, with significant proportions of listings also not considered great deals, which could influence overall value perceptions.

What people say
Great car, very reliable and is perfect for my day to day routine and needs. If you don’t drive super far day to day, I would recommend this car!
Car is futuristic and so smooth. By far fastest car I’ve ever owned so easy to merge and get up to speed with moving traffic. There is more cameras on the car than Fort Knox so can see everything around car. The feature of breaking once foot comes off gas pedal can be changed but is most optimal and takes a little bit of time to get used too. This car has everything nothing it is missing!
Safest car in its category, and most advanced technology compared with other cars in its class. Great energy consumption , I averaged 245Wh/mile over 30k+ miles . The front seats are very comfortable for long drives, while the seating position and steering wheel adjustments range are bringing more value and comfort. I would always buy another Model 3.
This is my first EV and its a whole new experience driving one, so far I am very happy with the purchase because I truly feel like driving a luxury car that is stylish and aerodynamic on the outside and interior. The instant torque is insane, super fast and quiet. The leather seats are very comfortable. One of my favorite features is the console with that touchscreen display; the design is simple and clean and yet it is loaded with lots of multi media apps which is super convenient. The fact that the touchscreen is responsible for all of the vehicles controls is something that I need to get used to. Also, the standard safety feature and the auto pilot are the main reason that I wanted to purchase this vehicle.
Great car for someone who never owned electric cars. I love the streamline minimalist look but still packed with luxury feel and options
