Used RAM 1500 for Sale nearMissoula, MT

How much does the RAM 1500 cost in today's market?

Used RAM 1500 prices span a wide range depending on model year. Here's what the market looks like right now:

The RAM 1500's current nationwide average price is $29,877, and its lowest point over the past year was $28,621. Recently, prices have come down for the 2024, 2025, and 2026 models, making now a good time to shop recent model years.

Is the RAM 1500 a good car?

Yes — the RAM 1500 is a strong used-truck choice if you want comfort, refinement, and a premium-feeling cabin. The all-generations owner rating is 4.6/5 across every model year in the data.

Owners consistently praise the RAM 1500 for its smooth ride, upscale interior, and strong performance. Many also highlight its spacious cabin and useful technology, which help it feel more polished and versatile than a typical full-size pickup.

Expert reviews rate the 2019 and 2025 models among the highest across all years.

The main tradeoffs that show up in expert reviews are that advanced safety features are not standard on some years, some trims keep the latest driver aids as optional equipment, and certain powertrains can feel expensive relative to the rest of the lineup.

33.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

Are RAM 1500 models reliable?

Owners across the lineup consistently praise the RAM 1500 for its comfortable ride, strong performance, and upscale interior feel. Expert reviews also repeatedly point to the truck’s refinement, roomy cabin, and broad range of configurations as core strengths.

• Owners rate the RAM 1500 between 3.9 and 5 out of 5 stars across all model years in the data.

For used buyers, long-term ownership risk looks manageable overall, but you should pay close attention to maintenance history and any signs of past mechanical or electronics issues.

Which RAM 1500 trim should I buy?

What RAM 1500 do most buyers choose?

The RAM 1500 years with the most listings are 2020, 2021, and 2019.

The highest-volume years tend to be popular because they give you a broad mix of pricing, availability, and equipment choices. That usually makes it easier to compare trims and find a truck that fits your budget and feature priorities.

What is the RAM 1500's resale value?

Most RAM 1500 model years are showing price declines, which can work in your favor if you’re shopping used.
