Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring with a lane-change assist function, and parking sensors
• Infotainment: a 12.3-inch center touchscreen infotainment system with Porsche Communication Management, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, SiriusXM 360L satellite radio, Connect Plus connected services, and a wireless smartphone charger
• Fuel efficiency: 20 mpg in combined driving

Which Porsche Panamera trim should I buy?

The 2023 Porsche Panamera offers these trims:

• Panamera: The base twin-turbo V6 and rear-wheel drive make this the entry point, and it suits you if you want the core Panamera experience with the standard body style.
• Panamera Platinum Edition: This adds exclusive detailing, unique 21-inch wheels, a sport exhaust system, and the Premium Package with heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, four-zone climate control, Bose audio, adaptive LED headlights, and blind-spot monitoring; it is the best-value trim if you want a richer feature set.
• Panamera Executive: The extended-wheelbase body gives you more rear-seat room and a more limousine-like feel.
• Panamera Sport Turismo: This wagon body style adds extra versatility and a more cargo-friendly shape.

What Porsche Panamera do most buyers choose?

The Porsche Panamera years with the most listings are 2024, 2022, and 2019.

Higher-volume years tend to be popular because they give you more inventory to compare, which can make it easier to find the right trim, color, and price. They also often sit in the sweet spot between newer features and broader used-market availability.

What is the Porsche Panamera's resale value?

Most model years are down year over year, which creates more room for used buyers to find value. The steepest drops are concentrated in several newer and mid-cycle years, while a few years have moved down more gradually. Overall, the table points to a market where patience can pay off if you are shopping for a used Panamera.

The 2019, 2021, and 2016 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Is the Porsche Panamera safe?

• 2023: 5/10
• 2021: 6/10
• 2017: 7/10

For the safest used buy, the 2017 model posts the highest confirmed score of 7/10.

Should I buy a used Porsche Panamera now or wait for the next model?

Buy now if:

• Price trend: The 2025 model is at −6.62% versus a year ago, and the 2023 model is at −9.51%.
• Deal availability: The 2023 model has 29% good and great deals.
• Sweet-spot year: The 2024 model has the most listings. The Porsche Panamera offers a rare mix of luxury, practicality, and genuine performance in a four-door package.

Consider waiting if:

• Powertrain/efficiency: The latest Panamera pairs a twin-turbocharged 2.9-liter V6 with 325 horsepower and 331 pound-feet of torque, and it uses an eight-speed Porsche Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK) transmission.
• Tech: The infotainment system features wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, SiriusXM 360L satellite radio, Connect Plus connected services, and a wireless smartphone charger.
• Safety: Adaptive cruise control is newly standard on all 2023 Panameras.
• Starting price: The 2023 Panamera Platinum Edition’s MSRP rose to $110,820, including the $1,450 destination charge.

If you're buying used today, the 2024 model year offers the best mix of value and availability. If you want the latest tech and features, it may be worth waiting for the next model year's inventory to build up.
