Key things to evaluate:

• Fuel efficiency: The EPA says it should return fuel economy of 20 mpg in combined driving.

Which Porsche Panamera trim should I buy?

The 2023 Porsche Panamera offers these trims:

• Panamera: The base twin-turbo V6 and RWD setup gives you the core Panamera experience with the model’s signature balance of performance and everyday usability.
• Panamera Platinum Edition: This best-value trim adds exclusive detailing, unique 21-inch wheels, a sport exhaust system, and the Premium Package with heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, four-zone climate control, Bose audio, adaptive LED headlights, and blind-spot monitoring.
• Panamera Executive: The extended-wheelbase version suits you if you want more rear-seat room while keeping the Panamera’s sporty character.
• Panamera Sport Turismo: The sport wagon body style adds extra versatility and cargo-friendly practicality while preserving the Panamera’s driving feel.

What Porsche Panamera do most buyers choose?

The Porsche Panamera years with the most listings are 2024, 2022, and 2023.

Higher-volume years tend to be the easiest places to shop because you get more inventory to compare and a better chance of finding the right color, mileage, and equipment mix. They also tend to attract more deal opportunities simply because there are more listings in circulation.

What is the Porsche Panamera's resale value?

Most model years in the table are down year over year, which creates more room for used buyers to find value. The biggest drops are concentrated in the newer and mid-range years, while a few older years are moving down more slowly. That pattern suggests the Panamera’s used prices are broadly easing rather than staying flat.

The 2019, 2021, and 2016 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Is the Porsche Panamera safe?

• 2023: 5/10
• 2021: 6/10
• 2017: 7/10

Porsche fortifies the Panamera Platinum Edition with numerous advanced driving assistance systems (ADAS). These active safety features include adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring with a lane-change assist function, and parking sensors.

For the safest used buy, the 2017 model posts the highest confirmed score of 7/10.

Should I buy a used Porsche Panamera now or wait for the next model?

Buy now if:

• Price trend: The 2025 model is at −7.25% versus a year ago, and the 2023 model is at −9.55%.
• Deal availability: The 2023 model has 30.6% good and great deals.
• Sweet-spot year: The 2024 model has the most listings. The Porsche Panamera offers a rare mix of sports-car character, generous passenger space, and hatchback practicality.

Consider waiting if:

• Powertrain/efficiency: Naturally, the most affordable versions of this Porsche are also the least powerful. The base Panamera and Panamera Platinum Edition have a twin-turbocharged 2.9-liter V6 engine generating 325 horsepower at 6,800 rpm and 331 pound-feet of torque between 1,800 rpm and 5,000 rpm.
• Tech: The infotainment system features wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, SiriusXM 360L satellite radio, and Connect Plus connected services.
• Safety: Adaptive cruise control is newly standard on all 2023 Panameras.

If you're buying used today, the 2024 model year offers the best mix of value and availability. If you want the latest tech and features, it may be worth waiting for the next model year's inventory to build up.
