Which Porsche Panamera trim should I buy?

The 2023 Porsche Panamera offers these trims:

• Panamera: The base twin-turbo V6 and rear-wheel drive make this the entry point, and it suits you if you want the core Panamera experience with the broadest access to the model’s luxury-performance character.
• Panamera Platinum Edition: This adds exclusive detailing, unique 21-inch wheels, a sport exhaust system, and the Premium Package with heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, four-zone climate control, Bose audio, adaptive LED headlights, and blind-spot monitoring; it is the best-value trim.
• Panamera Executive: This extended-wheelbase version adds extra rear-seat room for you if you want more limousine-like comfort.
• Panamera Sport Turismo: This wagon body style adds extra versatility and cargo-friendly utility while keeping the Panamera’s sporty personality.

What Porsche Panamera do most buyers choose?

The Porsche Panamera years with the most listings are 2024, 2022, and 2023.

Higher-volume years tend to be popular because they give you more inventory to compare, which can make it easier to find the right trim, mileage, and price combination. They also often attract more shoppers because they sit in the sweet spot between newer features and used-car value.

What is the Porsche Panamera's resale value?

Most model years are down year over year, which is good news if you’re shopping used because it creates more room for value. The largest drops are concentrated in the newer and mid-cycle years, while a few older examples are moving down more gradually. Overall, the pattern points to a market where buyers can find meaningful savings across much of the lineup.

The 2019 model year is holding steady, with prices close to flat year-over-year.

The 2019, 2016, and 2021 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

• 2023: 5/10
• 2021: 6/10
• 2017: 7/10

Adaptive cruise control is newly standard on all 2023 Panameras.

Should I buy a used Porsche Panamera now or wait for the next model?

Buy now if:

• Price trend: The 2025 model is at −9.15% versus a year ago, and the 2023 model is at −9.73%.
• Deal availability: The 2023 model has 31.5% good and great deals.
• Sweet-spot year: The 2024 model has the most listings. The Porsche Panamera offers a rare mix of sports-car character, luxury, and everyday practicality that makes it easy to live with.

Consider waiting if:

• Powertrain/efficiency: Naturally, the most affordable versions of this Porsche are also the least powerful. The base Panamera and Panamera Platinum Edition have a twin-turbocharged 2.9-liter V6 engine generating 325 horsepower at 6,800 rpm and 331 pound-feet of torque between 1,800 rpm and 5,000 rpm.
• Tech: The infotainment system features wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, SiriusXM 360L satellite radio, and Connect Plus connected services.
• Safety: Porsche fortifies the Panamera Platinum Edition with numerous advanced driving assistance systems (ADAS), including adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring with a lane-change assist function, and parking sensors.
• Starting price: The entry-level MSRP is more than $113,000.

If you're buying used today, the 2024 model year offers the best mix of value and availability. If you want the latest tech and features, it may be worth waiting for the next model year's inventory to build up.
