Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: Pilot Pack with adaptive cruise control and Volvo’s Pilot Assist highway-driving system.
• Infotainment: 11.2-inch touchscreen running an Android-based operating system with Google Built-in apps, plus wireless Apple CarPlay.
• Range & charging: 320 miles, 82-kilowatt-hour battery pack, and a 10% to 80% charge in 28 minutes.
• Battery health: Check battery state-of-health, ask how often the car has relied on home charging versus DC fast charging, and confirm the remaining battery warranty coverage before you buy.

Which Polestar 2 trim should I buy?

The 2024 Polestar 2 offers these trims:

• Long Range Single Motor: The best-value choice if you want the longest range, with the 82-kilowatt-hour battery pack, rear-wheel drive, and the strongest efficiency-focused setup in the lineup.
• Long Range Dual Motor: Adds all-wheel drive and stronger acceleration, making it the pick if you want more performance and traction.
• Long Range Dual Motor with Performance Pack: Adds Brembo brakes and Öhlins manually-adjustable dampers, along with the highest output in the 2024 lineup for buyers who want the sharpest handling and quickest acceleration.

What Polestar 2 do most buyers choose?

The Polestar 2 years with the most listings are 2023, 2024, and 2025.

Higher-volume years usually draw the most attention because they give you more choices, more pricing spread, and a better chance of finding the right color, trim, and equipment mix. They also tend to be the easiest years to compare side by side while shopping.

What is the Polestar 2's resale value?

The table shows clear downward movement in both model years, which can work in your favor if you’re shopping used. The larger drop in one year suggests stronger price pressure there, while the other year has also moved down meaningfully. Overall, the pattern points to improving value for buyers rather than rising prices.

The 2023 and 2022 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
