I love this car! I have owned it for 2 years, and have only had to work on it once which was the radiator (but that doesn't mean I haven't worked on it more!) i have done many things to my car, and I love it because it's a V8 that can get 30 mpg on the highway, but still light up pretty much all of the little ricers that pull up beside me...it also rides like a luxury car and handles like a sports car.

I have owned my 2001 Olds Aurora 4.0 for almost 8 years. I have been driving since 1960 and all that time I have driven more than 100 cars ranging from the 1941 to the 2008 model years. When all the factors that make a good car are considered, this Aurora is easily the best of that bunch. There simply is not enough room here for me to say how great this car is. And when I buy a new car again, what I buy will be determined by how much that car is like the 2001 Aurora 4.0.

The Aurora was redesigned in 2001, and the new design left the car with a sportier, and more modern look. This car was Oldsmobile's last attempt at an entry luxury sedan - it was available with two engines a 3.5L V6 and 4.0L V8. Standard features include leather upholstery, 6 way memory power seats, burlwood dash, projector headlamps, power everything. This car is a driver's car. The center stack is sharply angles toward the driver with radio and temperature controls within close reach. On the top of these controls is the Driver info center which has a variety of features, including, date, time elapsed, fuel used, fuel range, fuel economy, oil pressure, voltage, etc. This info center also communicates messages to the driver, like "Headlamps Suggested" or "Change oil soon". This car offers quick performance and is a joy to drive - its agile and nimble around town as well as being quiet and comfortable on long road trips.
