Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitors, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, and automatic high-beam headlights
• Infotainment: an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wired Apple CarPlay and wired Android Auto on the Z Sport, plus a 9-inch screen with wireless Apple CarPlay, NissanConnect Services with Wi-Fi hotspot access, navigation, and an eight-speaker Bose premium audio system on the Z Performance, Heritage Edition, and Nismo

Which Nissan Z trim should I buy?

The 2026 Nissan Z offers these trims:

• Sport: the starting point with the core Z formula and the simpler infotainment setup; best if you want the most accessible entry into the lineup.
• Performance: adds a mechanical limited-slip differential, performance brakes, 19-inch forged aluminum wheels, and SynchroRev Match for the manual transmission; this is the best-value trim for many shoppers.
• Heritage Edition: builds on Performance with Midnight Purple paint, bronze 19-inch Rays forged aluminum wheels, a carbon-fiber rear spoiler, retro-inspired Twin Turbo graphics, special floor mats, and unique door kick plates.
• Nismo: adds chassis bracing, revised steering, upgraded brakes, exclusive suspension tuning, wider rear wheels, and high-performance summer tires for the most track-focused setup.

What Nissan Z do most buyers choose?

The Nissan Z years with the most listings are 2025, 2024, and 2023.

Higher-volume years tend to be the easiest places to shop because you get more inventory to compare and a better chance of finding the right color, trim, and price combination. They also tend to be the years most shoppers cross-shop first, which helps keep the market active.

What is the Nissan Z's resale value?

Prices are moving lower across both model years shown, which is good news if you’re shopping used. The changes are small rather than dramatic, so the market looks fairly stable overall. The newer of the two years is nearly flat, while the other has softened a bit more.

The 2025 model year is holding steady, with prices close to flat year-over-year.

The 2025 and 2024 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
