Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: ProPilot Assist 2.1 highway driving assist, a surround-view parking camera, and traffic-sign recognition.
• Infotainment: a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen with Google built-in capability, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Amazon Alexa.
• Fuel efficiency: At its most frugal, a front-wheel drive (FWD) Rogue delivers an EPA-estimated 33 mpg combined in a mix of city and highway driving. Adding AWD knocks this down to 31 mpg, while the chunkier tires of the Rock Creek makes it the thirstiest of the lineup at 29 mpg combined.

Which Nissan Rogue trim should I buy?

The 2025 Nissan Rogue offers these trims:

• S: The entry trim keeps the Rogue accessible and gives you the core compact-SUV formula.
• SV: The best-value trim adds an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, two rear USB-C ports, a Wi-Fi hot spot, keyless entry, remote start, dual-zone climate control, adaptive cruise control, and a power liftgate.
• Rock Creek: This adventure-flavored trim adds all-wheel drive, all-terrain tires, a tubular roof rack, a surround-view camera system, and hill-descent control.
• SL: This trim brings the 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen with Google built-in capability, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Amazon Alexa, and satellite radio.

What Nissan Rogue do most buyers choose?

The Nissan Rogue years with the most listings are 2022, 2023, and 2024.

These higher-volume years tend to be popular because they give you a broad mix of availability, pricing, and feature content. When more listings are on the market, you usually have a better chance of finding the trim, mileage, and condition that fit your budget.

What is the Nissan Rogue's resale value?

Most Rogue model years are down year over year, which is good news if you want to buy used after the market has softened. The largest drops are concentrated in newer model years, while older examples are changing more slowly.

The 2014, 2015, and 2016 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Should I buy a used Nissan Rogue now or wait for the next model?

Buy now if:

• Price trend: The 2025 model is at −16.39% versus a year ago, and the 2024 model is at −14.13%.
• Deal availability: The 2025 model has 40.1% good and great deals, and the 2024 model has 40.2%.
• Sweet-spot year: The 2022 model has the most listings at a current average price of $19,600. The Nissan Rogue offers a roomy cabin and an easygoing, family-friendly character that makes it a practical everyday SUV.

Consider waiting if:

• Powertrain/efficiency: The 201-horsepower turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder provides decent grunt for routine driving, and a front-wheel drive (FWD) Rogue delivers an EPA-estimated 33 mpg combined in a mix of city and highway driving.
• Tech: The bigger screen comes with wireless smartphone connectivity, and Google navigation was especially useful.
• Safety: ProPilot Assist 2.1 highway driving assist, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and an upgraded surround-view parking camera.
• Starting price: The base S trim has a temptingly low entry fee hovering around $30,000.

If you're buying used today, the 2022 model year offers the best mix of value and availability. If you want the latest tech and features, it may be worth waiting for the next model year's inventory to build up.
