Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: the 2026 Pro-4X includes standard 4WD, all-terrain tires, Bilstein off-road shocks, an electronic locking rear differential, front and underbody skid plates, and a Terrain mode selector.

Which Nissan Frontier trim should I buy?

The 2026 Nissan Frontier offers these trims:

• S: The entry trim comes in King Cab and crew-cab styles, making it the most flexible starting point if you want a simpler Frontier with the broadest body-style choice.
• SV: This trim adds the new Dark Armor option package and can be equipped with the All-Weather Package, which brings dual-zone automatic climate control, remote-engine start, heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel. It is the best-value choice if you want more comfort and convenience without moving up to the off-road-focused models.
• Pro-X: This trim brings the rugged look and off-road-oriented stance of the lineup while keeping rear-wheel drive.
• Pro-4X: This is the off-road performer in the lineup, with standard 4WD, all-terrain tires, Bilstein off-road shocks, an electronic locking rear differential, front and underbody skid plates, and a Terrain mode selector.

What Nissan Frontier do most buyers choose?

The Nissan Frontier years with the most listings are 2024, 2023, and 2025.

These higher-volume years tend to draw the most attention because they combine broad availability with newer features and familiar pricing. That gives you more choices to compare while still staying in the recent-generation Frontier lineup.

What is the Nissan Frontier's resale value?

The 2017, 2016, and 2015 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
