The Mitsubishi Endeavor has generally received positive feedback for its reliability, spacious interior, and solid performance across its model years. Owners particularly appreciate the all-wheel drive system, which excels in adverse weather conditions, as well as the comfort provided by its roomy cabin. However, some drivers have noted drawbacks such as minor mechanical issues in older models and a lack of aesthetic appeal. Overall, it is seen as a dependable choice for families and those who value practicality in an SUV.

I love everything about it...tons of room and very comfortable to drive any distance. AWD is amazing especially in the weather we have been getting. Performance seems to be better than most other SUV's similar. And priced in nearly 10 grand cheaper than a Honda Pilot

Both of my daughters (22 and 17) have an 04 Endeavor, needless to say my 20 year old had been through 3 cars by her 19th birthday and after purchasing this vehicle almost a year and a half ago it has lasted several long distance trips from college 3 hours away to our home for visits and the only thing we've had to replace are tires and new interior lighting, also my 17 year old loves this car simply because there is actually room in the back seat for her friends and the design is unique. As a parents the suv has a sturdy build feeling that was meant to last I feel that my children are very safe in this vehicle and highly recommend it!

I test drove the Mitsubishi Endeavor on a whim and fell in love with it. It has the get-up-and-go pep I need, the room the kids need, and a sophisticated look that doesn't embarrass the parents when riding with me. I have some safety features that I'm not sure are standard or not, but one is that the head lights will automatically turn off if I forget to do it. The other one is when I use the remote unlock and do not get to my vehicle within 30 seconds, it will lock itself back up. Great SUV!

The Mitsubishi Endeavor is a crossover built in Illinois introduced as a 2004 model. This was the first vehicle built as part of Project America, which is Mitsubishi's endeavor, if you will, to produce vehicles in North America for North America. The PS platform built under Project America is the base for the Endeavor as well as the Galant and the Eclipse. Since the Endeavor has only been around for a few years, it hasn't gone through any significant changes. It's possible, too, that it will be discontinued in a couple of years rather than be redesigned, as sales have been disappointing. Frankly, this one simply doesn't stand out against other crossovers. Slightly larger than Mitsubishi's compact Outlander, the Endeavor was essentially meant to replace the recently discontinued 7-passenger Montero, although the Endeavor carries just five passengers and the two coexisted for a few model years. The Endeavor does not compete with true SUVs, as it is not built for the trail; it is available in all-wheel drive rather than four-wheel drive and its lack of a two-speed transfer case means it should stay on pavement.
